Confidence Seen Through Self Evaluation and Action

To reveal my Total Self-Confidence, I bought a journal. That was the very first step I made.

I listed out the things in my life that I want to change, things that is not worth to put up with and my goals I want to achieve in life. By writing all these down, it made me see how invalid, unreasoned, ridiculous and silly my fears, beliefs and attitudes were.

I created these things and it existed within me. All those were holding me back!

In order for you to discover your true self, do this quick exercise. It requires you to write down answers about yourself. Be honest:

Exercise

What are you unhappy about in your life? Is there anything you can do to change it?

What are 2 realities about yourself you find it difficult to accept completely?

Anger or frustration: when do you feel it the most? Why do you feel this way?

Name 5 fears that you have. What is your biggest fear and why? What would happen if that fear comes true?

Complete the following beginnings

– ‘I like myself most when I…’

– ‘I dislike myself most when I…’

Many attend seminar or read books and study the ways to live a better life. Then, they do nothing.

Although many take part in the self evaluation, the results are not satisfactory. The reason is because there is no action taken. For many of us, it is easier to ignore what we learnt than putting it into practice.

Action is the basis to triumph. Thinking about it or feeling great about the idea will not give you the results. Only ACTION can do that.

For example, a movie director directs movie. If there are no actors then how can a movie be produce? A movie can only be film when the word ‘ACTION’ is directed to the actors by the director. So, this is also similar to taking actions in your life.

To summarize: TAKE ACTION to be a better you.
